livesan instructions.pdflivescan form.pdfFamily Participation Fee:
For this year, we are requiring the following to satisfy the requirement and receive a refund of the fee:
A total of 6 hours of service by the end of the regular season.
- Managers, assistant coaches (2 per team), and 1 other adult designated by the manager (for another parent who regularly helps the manager/ team but is not an assistant coach) qualify for a refund.
- The team parent for AA/ 8u divisions and below qualifies for the refund by volunteering for that position. The team parent in AAA/10u and above earns one shift. The team parent for all teams coordinates the tracking/ reporting of their parents’ shifts. (NNLL will create a tracking form, similar to one used for family All Star hours).
- Field Set up/ clean up counts for 30 minutes.
- Each team that has to use GameChanger can have a manager designate 2 scorekeepers, and those scorekeepers then satisfy their requirement by serving in that role for the season.
- Snack Bar shifts qualify for credit (those shifts can be worked anytime; it does not need to be during your player's game).
- Any designated NNLL field day volunteering/ assistance.
- Umpiring - will need to have training/ attended 1 clinic. One game equals 2 hours of credit (not eligible to be a paid umpire if you are receiving volunteer credit).
If a shift gets rained out, no credit is earned.
How the Board will issue refunds:
The treasurer will process refunds twice a month, and payment will be made by Safe Pay, through our bank, rather than Sports Connect, so that we can refund the entire amount and not have each family pay a processing fee. When a family has completed their requirement, the team parent will email
[email protected] to initiate your refund.
There will be other opportunities to work hours as well, such as volunteering for picture day/ hit a thon, field clean-up days, etc.
